| Hepburn's Choice was born from Hunter Lane, whose flagship series, Old Malt Cask, is very popular, with the desire to ``encourage more people to explore the world of single cask malt whisky.'' All of our products are "single cask, non-coloured," with an uncompromising and authentic commitment to quality, but with an alcohol content of 46%, lower than OMC, and an affordable price range, we can recommend this lineup to a wide range of drinkers. What has arrived this time is a rare piece, Blair Athol Port Finish. It is popular and highly rated, and many bottles have been released by bottlers, but it seems to have a relatively strong image of sherry barrels. We have received various bottles so far, but looking at the past history, I think this is the first time we have had a port finish from this brewery. I felt that the sweetness of the sherry barrel would go well with the solid, core flavor, but I think the port barrel offers a further fusion. Although it is highly anticipated, there are only a few in stock. |
