Founded in 1891 by Uhachiro Kami.
There is no special brand of shochu, and it has been loved by locals as ``God Shochu.'' However, in 1955, the name ``Chizuru Shochu'' was created to pray for the number of 1,000 cranes that came to winter from Siberia each year. It was named Chizuru.
