Higashi Sake Brewery was founded in 1915. 
Akumochizake is a traditional brewed sake that has the same origins as Japanese sake, which has been made in Japan since ancient times, and is made by adding wood ash to improve its preservation. 
It has long been said that where there is good water, there is good sake. Nanakubo is the name of a spring.
