Oguchi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.
History of Oguchi Sake Brewery
In August 1971, 11 sake brewing companies (10 companies and 1 individual) in Oguchi and Hishikari in Isa City began an integrated process from production to sales with the theme of improving sake quality, stabilizing the market, and shipping outside the prefecture. We established a fully cooperative cooperative and unified the brand name to "Isa Nishiki."
In 1985, we developed and released ``Kuro Isa Nishiki'' made with black koji malt, which was well received.
The area is blessed with a natural environment for shochu production, including a climate and high-quality water, and in addition to careful selection of materials, traditional techniques and modern manufacturing methods are combined to create a deep flavor in the products.
delicious water
The shochu produced at Oguchi Sake Brewery uses fresh water that springs from 100 meters underground (used for brewing water and water for making shochu).
