| Double Cask Rum Finish, a sister product to Glen Scotia Double Cask. Finished in Guyanese Demerara rum barrels, it has an exotic, tropical flavor. Aged in the finest American oak barrels, this rich, exotic whiskey is full of aromas of boiled sugar, molasses, and tropical fruit. A bit different from Glen Scotia Double Cask, this rum finish is inspired by Campbelltown's Victorian era, when it was one of the most cosmopolitan ports with trade routes around the world. Double Cask is the perfect embodiment of Campbelltown's spirit, with disparate personalities and styles coming together in perfect cohesion to create something special. In the case of Double Cask Rum Cask Finish, there are records of rum barrels existing and being sold in the town as far back as 1815, before Glen Scotia was founded. This whiskey is not only a homage to this history, but also takes inspiration from one of Glen Scotia Distillery's most distinctive and famous malt festival limited edition bottlings. |
