| "Ballchen" is a heavily peated whiskey produced by Edradauer Distillery. It was created in 2002 when Ian Henderson, who worked at Laphroaig Distillery, became manager of Edradour Distillery. Ballchen is the name of an actual distillery that operated from 1810 to 1927, producing heavily peated whisky. "Ballechen 10 Year Old" is a blend of 70% first fill from bourbon casks and 30% first fill from sherry casks. |
