| Benriach means "gray mountain" in Gaelic. Benriach Distillery, which was founded in Speyside in 1898, is located in the same Elgin area as the famous Longmorn, and was founded by John Duff, the same man who founded Longmorn. Ben Riax Smoky Ten is made from three barrels aged for at least 10 years. A combination of bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum barrels, and toasted virgin oak creates a blend of unpeated and peated spirits. |
