Glen Allahee 10 Years Old Ruby Port Finish is aged for over 7 years in bourbon barrels and then aged for 36 months in empty Ruby Port barrels (hogsheads), a fortified wine from Portugal.
Ripening in Ruby Port barrels reveals aromas of juicy plums and cocoa powder, resulting in a rich, fruity flavor with hints of honeyed figs, berries, and ginger.
Glen Allahee Distillery was established in 1967 on the outskirts of Aberlour.
