Bat 69 is a blended whiskey with a history released by William Sanderson & Son in 1882, and currently uses Diageo's unblended whiskey.
In 882, William Anderson prepared 100 barrels of his own blend and gathered experts to find out which ones were the best.
Among them, the 69th cask (Cask=Vat) was judged to be the best, and it began to be sold under the brand name "69th Cask (Vat)".
This whiskey is a blend of over 40 types of malt and grain.
He appears in the film ``Band of Brothers,'' a co-production between director Steven Spielberg and actor Tom Hanks.
The label with "VAT69" written in large white letters on a black background is impressive.
