Tasting comments
Color: polished mahogany
Aroma: Chocolate, raisin, mandarin orange, spice
Flavor: Ripe figs, cherries, hazelnuts, toasted oak.
The Arran sherry cask is aged for the entire period in first-fill sherry hogsheads to bring out the rich flavor derived from the sherry barrel.
It is also bottled at cask strength for a full-bodied finish.
The fruitiness typical of Aran and the flavor derived from sherry barrels harmonize in a well-balanced manner.
