Bourbon was originally produced by CM Dedman Distillery, founded in 1879 by Charles Mortimer Dedman.
In 2008, it was revived as a small batch bourbon by Dixon Dedman, great-great-grandson of Charles Mortimer Dedman, and California winemakers Mark Carter and Sherri Carter.
