Limited release once a year! Mictor's "Legacy Series"
Bomberger's Declaration Bourbon Whiskey is a small-batch bourbon whiskey released once a year, named after the Bomberger Distillery, the roots of Michter's in the 1800s. This 2023 release uses rye malt in the mashbill, as well as a base aged in special Chinkapin oak barrels that have been air-dried for three years.
The aroma is dark fruit with aromas of nuts and burnt caramel. The palate starts with rich molasses, followed by dried fruit and chocolate. Spices such as cinnamon and cloves are added towards the finish, creating a complex and deep flavor.
Michter's has a long history dating back to 1753, and is based at the Shively Distillery and Fort Nelson Distillery in Louisville, as well as its own farm in Springfield, with a mission of ``creating the best American whiskey'' and pursuing quality. , we make whiskey without sparing any cost or time.
One of Michter's characteristics is that the barrel wood is left to dry naturally for a long time and toasted before charring to maximize the rich flavor.
